Partnership Proposal
The Georgetown ISD Office of Community Engagement and Communication helps to create partnerships that best match community resources with identified needs. These partnerships are designed to support the district’s mission, vision, strategic plan, and learner profile.
What Makes A Successful Partnership?
Rewarding and sustainable educational partnerships share the following characteristics:
- Well-matched. Successful partnerships are mutually beneficial, mutually rewarding, and aligned with educational goals.
- Well-planned. Successful partnerships have specific activities, timelines, and responsibilities for all participants.
- Resources and support. Successful partnerships have sufficient resources -- people, funds, time, and interest -- to succeed.
- Communication. Successful partnerships involve continuous communication.
- Evaluation and evolution. Successful partnerships establish measurable criteria, evaluate effectiveness, and evolve as needed.
