Volunteer & Mentor Registration Instructions

Welcome to the new Georgetown ISD Mentor/Volunteer/Partner System (MVPS).  We appreciate your interest in serving our students and schools.  This is a new system for the 2019-2020 school year and your registration is required.

NEW USERS: Start the sign-up process by creating a Username and Password for your volunteer account and entering them in the fields below. These are the credentials you use to sign-in to your account after you have been approved to volunteer. We recommend you use your email address for your username, however, an email address is not required to register in our system. Your Password must be a minimum eight characters, using letters and numbers only. Do not use any special characters. Once you've created your account, you will be prompted to add more information to complete your background check. Please type your full name as it appears on your driver's license.

EXISTING USERS: If you have already created an account in the MVPS system, click here to login to your existing account.

By completing this registration process you acknowledge and agree that Georgetown ISD will run a criminal background check as a condition to approving you to volunteer. Furthermore, you acknowledge and agree that the District may periodically re-run such criminal background check for as long as you continue volunteering in our schools.

If for any reason we do not approve you to volunteer we will notify you and if you request, provide the information used in making our decision along with details of how to dispute any background results with the credit reporting agency that provided them to us.

If you are unwilling for Georgetown ISD to perform a background check do not proceed with this registration.
